Since I’m used to wake up really early in the morning to commute to work (and let’s be honest, I have always preferred the day to the night) it is difficult for me to sleep until late during the weekends. My inner alarm clock sounds at 7 and I need to get up. And because I have always wanted to visit the Retiro without the terrible crowds, I decided it was a good idea to go to the park with my camera to snap some pictures. At first it felt quite strange because there wasn’t anyone, but then I saw some old people doing their morning walk and I felt safer – let’s face it, it is so touristy you need to keep an eye on your belongings and walking on your own, camera in hand is quite disturbing. Anyway, I’m so happy with the results and felt like the park was opened just for me.
